Summer Live - Vancouver 125th Anniversary

Last weekend Vancouver celebrated its 125 anniversary with Live Summer, an spectacular three day outdoor cultural festival at Brockton Point in the historic Stanley Park.

The Summer Live festival included multiple stages, local food-carts, performances by Vancouver based and International artists including renowned Indian violinist, composer and conductor Dr. L. Subramaniam, Borealist String Quartet with Sal Ferreras, Bollywood Birthday Party, Kokoro Dance,  the VSO Vancouver Symphony Orchestra conducted by Bramwell Tovey and presenting the 14 year old virtuoso cellist Tate Zawadiuk.

The city of Vancouver has also been designated a Cultural Capital of Canada and this festival will be celebrated for one weekend in July every year in the park.
