The Vancouver Wooden Boat Festival organized by the Vancouver Wooden Boat Society is held at Granville Island in Vancouver.
- Floating exhibition of wooden boats of all kinds at the Granville Island public docks on the north and west sides of the Public Market.

Built in 1922, in False Creek, Vancouver, by Arthur Moscrop, the S.S. MASTER is the last remaining example of a once formidable fleet of wooden hulled, steam powered towboats on the West Coast. Master has been designated as a heritage object by the City of Vancouver and the province of British Columbia She is owned and operated by the S.S. Master Society.
