The Summer Solstice is celebrated in Vancouver Twice!! with Fete de la Musique also known as Make Music Vancouver. Thousands of people gather on different impromptu stages at the streets of Gastown and Yaletown, and this year in different venues in Downtown Vancouver to see hundreds of local bands and singers either amateurs or pros performing at this live free musical celebration at the longest day of the year June 21. This year Make Music Vancouver is celebrated in Gastown in June 25. |
